How ChillNeck works.
Charge, wear, enjoy — and everything you need to know for safe use. Please read carefully before first use.
Check before every use
Check ChillNeck before every wear for cracks, leaks, significant deformation, or other damage. If you notice any damage, stop using the product — use is at your own risk in all cases.
How it works
Put ChillNeck in the fridge (~15 min, standard), the freezer (~8 min, express), or in cold water (~30 min, gentle). No fridge on hand? A shady spot below 26 °C works too — it recharges passively on its own. The colder the surroundings, the faster it's ready.
Wait until the ring is firm again. Once the material has solidified, it's ready to wear.
Wear it loosely around your neck. It cools gently — no electricity, no cooling gel, just a special material inside.
On skin contact, the ring slowly softens and releases a pleasant, steady cooling effect for about 1 to 2 hours.
Reusable up to 300 times — not a disposable product.

What does ChillNeck feel like?
ChillNeck feels pleasantly cool to wear — not ice-cold, but gently refreshing. Perfect for hot days, without ever feeling too cold.
What's inside — explained simply
Inside is a plant-based material that liquefies when warm and solidifies again when cold — with no electricity, cooling gel, or chemicals. Your skin is around 30–32 °C, while the material's melting point is about 26 °C: as soon as you put the ring on, it starts to melt and absorbs excess heat from your neck. That's exactly what creates the cooling effect.
Important Safety & Usage Information
Please read carefully before first use — sorted by topic for a quick overview.
Use
- ChillNeck is designed exclusively to be worn around the neck. Do not use on other body parts.
- Use only as intended. Do not misuse, open, cut into, puncture, or otherwise alter the product.
- Do not wear too tightly. The ring must not constrict or impair breathing.
- Do not wear while sleeping.
- ChillNeck is a cooling aid, not a medical device, and does not replace medical treatment. It is not intended for the diagnosis, treatment, or prevention of any disease.
Before each use
- Check the product for cracks, leaks, significant deformation, or other damage before wearing it. Do not use if damaged.
- After the freezer: let it thaw briefly, as the product can be very cold in the first few minutes.
During use
- If you feel unwell, dizzy, or experience headaches, numbness, skin irritation, or pain, remove it immediately and stop use.
- If you have sensitive skin, test it briefly at first and gradually increase wearing time.
- In high outdoor temperatures, keep drinking enough water, seek shade, and take breaks. ChillNeck does not fully prevent sweating.
Special groups
- Do not use if you have a known silicone intolerance, open wounds, inflamed, heavily irritated, or freshly treated skin, or known skin conditions.
- People with sensory disorders, circulatory disorders, cold sensitivity, or relevant pre-existing conditions should consult a doctor before use.
- Children should only use it under supervision. Not suitable for toddlers and babies. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
Handling, storage & transport
- Do not heat, boil, place in boiling water, or put in a microwave or oven. Do not expose to temperatures outside the recommended range for extended periods.
- Protect from direct, strong sunlight and heat sources when not being worn.
- Protect from heat while soft: If the ring has softened from warmth (the PCM is then liquid), don't expose it to additional strong sun or heat — such as in a hot car or near a direct heat source. Sustained overheating can, in extreme cases, cause the material to leak. Instead, put it in a cooler, shady spot or recharge it.
- Do not cut open, puncture, or open it. If damage causes PCM to leak out, stop use immediately and avoid direct contact with eyes, mouth, and open wounds. If contact with the contents occurs: rinse with plenty of water, stop using the product, and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
- Store and transport ChillNeck cooled and in its solid state whenever possible — the material is most stable that way.
- While soft, do not bend, squeeze, or press it firmly — localized pressure can damage the material over time.
- While soft, don't carry ChillNeck loose in a bag or backpack for extended periods, where it gets pressed or bent. When traveling, it's best to pack it firm/cooled or wear it loosely around your neck.
- We recommend not using ChillNeck together with particularly delicate or valuable textiles, bags, or other items where damage to the product cannot be ruled out.
Cleaning & disposal
- To clean, wipe with clear water. Do not put in the washing machine.
- Do not dispose of in household waste. Please dispose of as a plastic product in accordance with local regulations.
Keep these usage instructions for future reference.
